A strange weekend that was.

On Friday we had a comab gig with Kraak at De Nor. Catherine Lamb, who's records were on constant rotation within the past year, performed a strange set at De Nor last Friday. It partly did not seem to work as the microphone's she used to record sound were feedbacing heavily. Some folks thought it was the best gig of the year, others were utterly confused.

Al Sholto played the same night, the trio of Tom White, Lia Mazzari and Sholto Dobie was quite lovely. Lia started on the street outside De Nor, slamming a whip, while Sholto dragged a sleepingbag around the garden and White was processing the sound through his tape machine. In the end all of them found eachother on stage as well to play a lovely set of frescomprov!

That was maybe the worst attened gig so far, there was about 12 million other gigs happening in town.

On Saturday we were already setting up gear around 1pm for the aperitvo concert of Koen 'Kampioen' Roggen. He played a first set at 6:30pm, a quite nice buzzing ambient/techno set. Then there was food, and after 9pm he played a second gig. Afterwards Him and Nico Vegas deejayed until it started pouring with rain around 3am.

Beyt Al Tapes will open for her on his bike, and DJ Poussez will play records before and after and in between! Doors at 8pm, gigs from 9:23 pm onwards!
