Learned about this Jim O' Rourke recording through Tone Glow, and realise i should probably search more, as i wonder where this was almost half of my life.
It reminds me of the first time Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson visited me. I had liked one of his musical projects, Stilluppsteypa, since many years, and his visual art too, so it seemed right to invite him to perform at Scheldapen at the time. I also had heard that he was half man half animal. We bonded pretty much instantly. Worked on a book of drawings, and while drawing discovered we both enjoyed changing lyrics of known popsongs, including Tracy Chapman's Fast Car, which, for some reason, was sung that first time a ton, and the many times we saw eachother afterwards as well.
