Altijd maar tegen

Between noon today and noon tomorrow a text work of mine is on show as part of the Ticker Tape group-exhibition at both locations of NICC (you can also see it on their social media pages and website).

On repeat :

Peter Ivers : Becoming Peter Ivers, 2XLP ( RVNG Intl.)
(Great comp of Peter Ivers rarities, sounds quite feminine, like if David Bowie and T-Rex would record on tapes in their bedroom.)

Boche : Beats, CD (Entr'acte)
(My kind of techno, basicly industrial with drummachines, like that Frank Tovy - Boyd Rice "Easy Listening forthe Hard of Hearing" LP, the best mechanic dance tunes)

Heather Leigh : Glory Days, LP (Boomkat)
(Reissue of a cassette that came out last year. Glorious contemporary Kate Bush like open singing, sometimes backed by her garden and strings, some electronic device or pedal steel. Always love it when she sings, Heather has a voice like a clock during a normal conversation, imagine what she'de be capable of in the blwing Brotzmann of stage department!)

Ashley Paul : Ray, LP (Slip)
(Beautiful soft chamber lo fi pop over mini free jazz to sensitive tip toe-ing)
